John Dye, famously known for being 'Andrew' the angel of death in the movie "Touched By an Angel", has passed away at the age of 47.

Cause
The cause of death was reported to be of heart failure.

John Dye's co-star, Valerie Bertinelli tweeted a message for him on her Twitter account- “Dear, sweet John Dye, rest in peace.”

John has appeared in 'Murder, She Wrote', 'The Perfect Weapon', 'Sioux City', 'Modern Girls' and 'First of the Warrior'. John Dye left his father and brothers Jerre and Jamey Dye. My condolences to the family.
