Winner of the recent held Anugerah Juara Lagu 25 (AJL 25), Ana Rafali is now grieving after just 5 days of rejoicing over her success that Monday night, mStar reports.

Today on 15 January 2011, Ana Rafali's grandmother has passed away at the age of 79 years old at the Ampang Hospital, Kuala Lumpur due to old age. The late grandmother had been receiving treatment at the hospital since 12 January 2011.

Ana Rafali is now following the "Santai @ Langkawi Green Tourism Roadshow" program at Langkawi island until tomorrow January 16th. She said that her late grandmother has been ill since 10 years ago and couldn't walk anymore several years after. However, her father advised her not to come home in a rush.
“Nenek tinggal bersama-sama kami sekeluarga di Kuala Lumpur. Dia sudah terlantar sakit sejak 10 tahun lalu dan tidak larat berjalan lagi beberapa tahun lalu.
“Saya berasa sedih apabila mengenangkan nenek selalu menghadiahkan duit apabila Hari Jadi saya semasa kecil-kecil dulu. Bagaimanapun, bapa saya nasihatkan supaya tidak pulang ke Kuala Lumpur dengan tergesa-gesa.”

Her grandmother's corpse had been taken to Temerloh, Pahang to be buried there tomorrow, Sunday 16 January 2011. Ana Rafali with her three brothers who can't make it home shall be able to pay their last respect tomorrow then.
